Terms and conditions of sales
This agreement concerning the sale of products online is between the company COUSINS&CO and generally an individual end buyer as part of a distance selling system.
The buyer must complete an order form for orders to be accepted and confirmed. By completing the order form, the buyer confirms a commitment to purchase. Orders are confirmed by email with the name and references of COUSINS&CO. The confirmation email includes the product description, price including tax and the amount of shipping fees.
Prices and taxes
Prices are denominated in euros. The prices indicated include all taxes and VAT for France and EEC countries but do not cover shipping fees. For online orders, the total price indicated in the order confirmation includes the price of the products and shipping fees. You must inquire about any customs fees that may apply upon delivery of the merchandise. Any import taxes must also be paid by the end recipient upon arrival of the merchandise.
Shipping fees are not included in the retail price. To reduce shipping costs as much as possible, all products are shipped through a service offered by the French post office, Colissimo Suivi. This service is not only economical but ships within 48 hours anywhere in France. You can also pick up the products you ordered at a post office near the delivery address if you are absent the first time the postman tries to deliver. Essentially, if you are absent the day of delivery, your postman will leave you a missed delivery notification in your mailbox. You have 15 days to take this notification slip to the post office during opening hours and pick up your parcel. Be careful, this notification can also get mixed in with advertisements. Do not hesitate to go to your post office with the Colissimo number sent to you by email on the day your order was shipped so that you can pick up your parcel.
Our website features one of the most effective security systems available today, SSL cryptographic protocol technology. The card number entered is only known by our bank (Caisse d’Epargne). It does not go through the website server. The order confirmed by the customer is only effective once the bank payment centres have authorized payment. If payment is refused, the order is automatically cancelled and the customer is informed by email. Ownership of the products passes to you once the price of the merchandise has been paid in full.
The products are sent to the delivery address indicated by the buyer during the order process. In the event of an error in the name or address, the seller shall not be held liable if the product cannot be delivered. Shipping fees are expressed including tax. Any delays in delivery do not entitle the buyer to claim damages. COUSINS&CO shall not be held liable for any shipping delays due to the service of La Poste.
Returns for the reason "NFTA": These parcels are returned by the delivery service for the following reason: Not Found at This Address. Within 48 hours after we receive and accept your parcel, your account will be credited for the total order amount, minus shipping fees. You can then order again.
Returns for the reason "unclaimed": These parcels are not claimed at the post office within the proper time frame (15 days). Within 48 hours after we receive and accept your parcel, your account will be credited for the total order amount, minus shipping fees. You can then order again.
If the good delivered is not the product ordered (based on the confirmation email), COUSINS&CO shall correct the mistake or refund you for all costs incurred (including reshipping fees). For any claims, please contact us by email or by post within 10 days following delivery of the parcel.
Damage during shipment
You should not accept a parcel if the outside packaging has any trace of an impact. If your parcel is delivered directly to your mailbox or by your postman and is unfortunately damaged, you must go to your post office and request a report for damaged shipment without opening it. If you do not request the report the same day as your delivery, the post office will refuse to give it to you, and we will be unable to request compensation. In this case, you must send us a letter or email of complaint within two days following the delivery date.
Guarantees and after-sales service

Those that meet EC standards include a French power plug and run on 220V. Those that meet UK standards have a UK power plug, and those that meet UL standards a US power plug. For other countries, you may need to use an adapter or change the entire electric strand if the voltage is different in your country. If the product you have received has a hidden defect, please inform us by email or by post as soon as possible. You should then return the merchandise by post as soon as possible.
The defective item will be exchanged if in stock.
